Hosting Services

It’s one of the things that makes the web fun.

What is it? Making your own slice of the internet. Sounds like fun to me!

Self-hosting is cool because it gives you complete control over your digital world—you’re not relying on someone else’s servers, limits, or rules. When you run your own services, whether it’s media platforms like Jellyfin, Plex, or Kavita, or interactive tools like Minecraft, n8n, or Nginx, you’re essentially building your own internet, powered by your own hardware and your own choices.

It’s customizable, private, and endlessly rewarding. Every time you spin up a new service, you learn something, fix something, or make something work in a way that big platforms just don't allow. It’s tech independence, and it feels good.

It's not just fun, though—it's what people need. Hosting your own services, web pages, and tools actually helps people. Having your tools accessible on the web, or even just running locally on your own hardware instead of someone else's cloud, is an absolute game changer. So, let's play.
